I used the 3rd edition of this book as my guide while in Britain. I spent a couple of hours
in my local bookstore before selecting this guide. Of all the guides I looked at,
this one seemed to be the most comprehensive book aimed at students and budget
travelers. It has answered almost all of the questions I had, as well as ones I
hadn't even had yet. One of the things I like best about the guide is that there are
lots of maps, which are extremely useful. On top of everything else, this
book is better made than many of the other guides I looked at (nice binding and paper);
you won't have to worry about this book falling apart in your backpack.
